Booking & reservations
Can I book a table for a large group?
Our maximum table size is 12 people, and advance booking is required.
Can I book a table in the garden?
Our garden is available for walk-ins only. If it’s a sunny day and you have a dining reservation and would like to sit outside, please ask one of our hosts. Please note that outside we offer assisted service only, so you may need to order food at the bar.
Do you take bookings in the bar?
Unfortunately not. Our bar is walk-in only, and all reservations are for our dining area.
Do you have highchairs?
Yes. If you require a highchair, please let us know in your booking notes so our team can seat you at a suitable table and have one ready.
Food & drink
Do you serve Sunday roasts?
Absolutely! Please visit our Menus page to view our Sunday lunch menu.
Please note that on Sundays, from 12pm to 5pm, we serve our Sunday lunch menu alongside small plates, pizzas and our children’s menu only.
Do you serve food during the week?
Yes. Our kitchen serves snacks, small plates, pub classics, Hothob baguettes and Neapolitan-inspired pizzas. Take a look at our menus.
Do you cater for vegans?
We offer a number of vegetarian dishes, and several can be made with plant-based alternatives. Please let our team know about any dietary requirements when ordering.
Are there alcohol-free drinks?
Yes. We offer beautifully considered alcohol-free choices alongside our ales, beers, ciders, wines and spirits.
Visiting us
Do you offer parking?
Yes! We have a limited number of parking spaces at the front and rear of the pub. We also have an additional car park opposite the pub, next to the local store, which is available for our guests.
Is there disabled access?
Yes. For dining reservations, please let us know in advance so we can seat you at a suitable table.
Do you allow dogs?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the pub.
Are children welcome at The Stamford Arms?
Absolutely! Children are very welcome at The Stamford Arms until 8pm.
Can we work from the pub?
Of course! Laptops are welcome in our bar area, although we kindly ask that telephone calls are kept to an absolute minimum to maintain a relaxed atmosphere for all our guests.
Do you have a dress code?
We like to keep things relaxed, but from 7pm we kindly ask guests to make an effort and change out of their workwear.
Is there a garden?
Yes. There’s a spacious garden terrace and a children’s pirate ship play area behind the pub.

What are your opening hours?
Monday to Saturday, 11am–11pm; Sunday, 12pm–10pm.
When is food served?
Monday to Saturday, 12pm–9pm; Sunday, 12pm–5pm.
Events & extras
Do you offer private hire?
Yes! Our family garden is available for private hire for groups of 40–60 guests, Monday to Wednesday only. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Are you able to host post funeral wake receptions?
Yes. We offer a buffet option for up to 40 guests, subject to availability, booking and a deposit. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we do! These are currently available from the bar.
